WiseAcademy is a trade name operated by Diego Fernando Saavedra Blanco, a natural person domiciled in Colombia ("WiseAcademy", "we", "us"). By using the site wiseacademy.online and its services, you are contracting directly with Diego Fernando Saavedra Blanco. You may contact us at saavedradiego@gmail.com.

By creating an account, booking a lesson, or continuing to use the platform, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service. You must be of legal age in your country of residence, or have the authorization of a parent or legal guardian, and — if you are contracting on behalf of an organization — have the authority to bind it.

WiseAcademy offers online language lessons with native teachers (individual, group, and custom-topic lessons), study material following CEFR progression, and an artificial intelligence tutor for conversational practice.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out from your account. You must provide truthful information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You agree not to use the platform for:

• illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activities, or sending spam;
• infringing the intellectual property rights of third parties or of WiseAcademy;
• interfering with the security of the service (malware, scanning, scraping, reverse engineering, circumventing technical limits);
• harassing, discriminating against, or harming teachers or other students;
• reselling, redistributing, or recording and publishing lessons without written authorization.

The AI tutor generates automated responses for educational purposes. Its output may be inaccurate or incomplete and does not constitute professional, legal, medical, or financial advice; please verify the information before relying on it. You are responsible for the messages you enter, for having the rights to any content you submit, and for how you use the responses. It is prohibited to use the tutor to generate illegal, hateful, or child sexual content, deceptive content, or to attempt to circumvent its restrictions. We may filter responses, moderate content, restrict use, or suspend accounts in the event of violations, and address rights holders' claims through content takedowns and penalties for repeated infringement.

WiseAcademy retains ownership of the platform, the software, the teaching materials, the curriculum, the brand, and all of its content. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to personal use of the service you have purchased. You retain the rights to the content you contribute and grant us a limited license to host and process it for the sole purpose of providing you with the service.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Interruptions may occur due to maintenance, third-party failures, or force majeure events. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Lessons are paid for individually (no subscription) at the price shown at the time of booking. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund terms are governed by Stripe's Purchase Terms and by our Refund Policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Stripe.com. Stripe.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Stripe handles all customer service inquiries and manages returns.

If you cancel a paid lesson at least 24 hours in advance, you will automatically receive a reusable lesson credit on your account, valid for 180 days. Details are in the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or cancel your access in the event of a material breach of these Terms, non-payment, fraud or security risk, or serious or repeated violations of our policies. Upon termination, you may request a copy of your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted or anonymized.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (loss of profits, data, or reputation). Nothing excludes liability for willful misconduct, fraud, death, or personal injury where the law prohibits such exclusion. You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or a breach of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia. We may update these Terms; we will publish the new version with its update date and, if the change is substantial, we will notify you. You may not assign your account without our consent; we may assign the agreement in the event of a reorganization or sale of the business.
